of the "Gale Encyclopedias of Associations", the
standard reference volumes found in virtually every
public and university library. Mail addresses are
provided for the great majority of national, regional,
state and local nonprofit membership organizations in
the US. The name of the top person is included in more
than 40% of the records. The list can be selected in
many ways, for example: association type; size by
number of members, number of staff, and budget; and
whether or not the association issues publications or
holds conventions.
